Nordic Semiconductor recently expanded its nRF54L Series with the nRF54LC10A, a new SoC with less memory and a smaller peripheral set compared to the higher-end nRF54L15, while supporting Bluetooth LE with Channel Sounding and IEEE 802.15.4 for Thread, Zigbee, and Matter. Built on a 22nm process, the SoC combines a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor with a multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio. It also features a sub-50 nA hibernation mode for devices shipped with (3V) batteries installed, reducing battery drain during storage and transportation.
